A National Divorce is probably coming in one form or another. A Legal Separation? A CW? A Resurgence of States Rights, & Decline of Feral Tyranny? A Yugoslavian Dissolution with or without Violence?

I would hope there would be no war. Think of all the republics that seceded from the old Soviet Union peacefully.
Our "leaders" are also obtuse. This wouldn't matter if people didn't happen to follow their leaders.
