Good questions. Any answer must have a caveat that perfection is unobtainable, especially more so in setting up or running a government. Also being a Confederate, I quess that is a latter day Anti-Federalist :-)
Having the States United for foreign policy, interstate free trade, uniform currency, a national navy, etc were considered beneficial and probably still are in a constitution where the 9th & 10th Amendments are valid, but there is no question that the Original Constitution bears little resemblence to the current Feral Monstrosity, Even Before the 2020 sElection Coup.
Having said all this, it's mostly "academic" as I don't think "reform" is possible or practical now. There is a collapse coming, with a Contested "Reset" after which the Victors will implement their forms of government. Hopefully We will be Free to have our views as part of the process. At some point though, if anarchy is to be avoided, some forms will have to be adopted. Perhaps "mutually exclusive positions" is another phrase for "divided government"???
I suspect "Survival" will be the soup du jour for the next decade, those that are around at that point can have these discussions is my glass half full view. All the best as always!
Hi. You asked me about my communication lines on Coffee&Covid yesterday. Thanks for asking. I have one person-my beautician. But that is a rare opportunity. My brother and sister in law. I rarely see them either. So actually no one. Except online. No one who knows I’m unvaxxed has ever asked me why I took this decision. I’ve tried to warn my daughter but she told me she doesn’t want any more communication about this. Meanwhile they allowed their daughter to transgender to a boy with drugs and one mutilation so far. But for God, and all communication lines online, especially Substack, I am bearing this by myself. My husband leaves me alone but I can’t talk much about it as he gets angry. I’m not the only one of course in this situation and I’ve been able to keep my anxiety low with prayer and a proper healthy lifestyle. I’m 75 this year. Your stack looks interesting. I like your style. I will hop in. 😀👍🏻
Well it's good that your husband can get angry, but I understand you don't want to create that effect in him. It is very personal when family members go woke, but they are independent
Beings with Free Will to go their own way. Even young children, sadly, will have to be Responsible for their actions in these times.
See if you can a topic of shared Reality with your Brother and Increase the Communication, phoe or email if not visiting. People love Communication IF it's a shared Reality and then Affinity increases.
