Admittedly I do not know much about what happened regarding this matter. Massey made a comment recently about an unpopular vote he cast. I think he correlated to the rules of the Constitution or thereabouts.
Frankly I grow tired of hearing about the Constitution as an excuse from the right. The Constitution was written for a moral populace as stated by one of our founding fathers. We don’t have one of those anymore. In fact we haven’t for many years. The enemy doesn’t give a rat’s ass about following the rules.
I say it’s time for the right to put the founding docs on standby. At least until we get back to moral societal framework. You may say how will we know when we get there? I would say when logic and common sense tell you that it is time. The logic, truth, and common sense have been the bedrock that the left has gone to war against. I long for the day when the left learns we will no longer be bound by our self imposed restraints.

FYI—-Do NOT NOT NOT overlook reasonable access to clean water. IMHO it’s the most important thing on the list. Read Chap 13 (WATER I think) of Jack Lawson’s Civil Defense Manual. It’s not only vital for life but also morale.
Live in CFL. The water table is low but some of the wells are pretty deep. Have 2 of those well buckets with about 400ft of rope and a couple pulleys.
I should probably have a Berkey too and it will clean just about anything including Lake Water I think. Just didn’t know how long those filters would last cleaning cruddy water. Also the well buckets are pretty mobile as a person like me would always seek out shelter in homes that have a well (rural area).
I did wrestle with the water situation a lot over last couple years. Like I said probably good to do both. Of course you can use the Berkey now too so another perk.
I sure as hell hope it doesn’t come to that. I mean complete SHTF/WROL. Within 6 months probably 80% die off only to deal with other nations fighting over the land. The survivors would be hardened in the same way the Taliban is now.
IMO the best we can hope for is a slower paced succession over a period of years. It would probably need to happen at a state level. The way things sit today it would be impossible because we have no allies in State Govt either. We seem to be reminded of that more every day.
However it’s hard to gauge miracles and events that could reshape the situation exponentially. History is full of men and events like that which can turn the tide.
Am concerned about the Chinese coming in lately. From what I understand wouldn’t take too many rifle teams to tear into the power grid to cause nation wide calamity. I can see them doing it in order to severely cripple America’s ability to wage nuclear war. Can’t say I blame them to be honest. This place is run by rabid dogs that might be more content to blow the world to hell as opposed to losing their grip on power.
