If the Lord doesn't accept me it will be due to the anger and desire within my heart to exact justice on my own as I know that is unacceptable for I have no authority. So, I wait. One day there will be no choice.

You are entitled to your view, I just have a different take on our situation.

As an immortal spiritual being I have full Authority and Responsibility for my actions. I also wait and prepare because There will always be choices, some are more pleasant than others for sure.

The Goal of this game is to Win, I am willing to fight on favorable ground with favorable resources. We all have Free Will, God grants Life, I will spend his gift of my life, as I see fit, I will bow to No Man, though be willing to have mutual respect and hence friendship.

Sir

That was wonderfully stated.

Free will can be a difficult weapon to master properly.

Total Cause = Total Responsibility. Who wants that??? Hence we don't Even Trust Ourselves. and the dwindling spiral to servitude begins .......

Only through Christ Jesus can you be saved, through the grace of God and the sacrifice of His only begotten son, Jesus of Nazareth. Every work is meaningless, unless you submit to the authority of Christ Jesus.

Having stated that, as a follower of Christ, I reject the modern Christianity view that followers of Christ are to allow and submit to abuse.

My Jesus was a peacemaker, not a pacifist.

He took the time to braid cords into a whip and used it to rid the temple of animals and vermin (aka...Jews). Some of us are much more ruthless than anyone could imagine, unless they read the Scriptures and see the brutal truth about how God has dealt with His enemies biblically. Not everyone has the stomach for it, but plenty of us do.

Perhapa I've been misunderstood due to lack of clear explanation in my post. My anger and willingness to wipe the slate clean of all evil has no bounds. That is what I try to keep in check. But having those thoughts is also contrary to what I believe according to the word of God. Someday soon I will be forced to strike if only to defend myself and those around me. That does not bother me. But exacting my own form of justice does.

I understand. My point Is "Where" does Your "own form of justice" come from???

Being a man of God, believing and praying, then when the time comes, We will trust and believe in ourself as having the Holy Spirit within us

Just shades of discernment, not differences. We will All have our personal moment. All the best.

Ah, yes. My form of justice comes from the human side. That is why I keep it in check per my relationship with the Lord Jesus. If I react as a human I am no different than my enemies.

Laugh at 'em or shoot at 'em, I say.

I'm still laughing.

For now........

We remain patient and harmless as doves, for now. We must be ready.

Does anybody remember this? I sang this every single week in Sunday School, admittedly never acknowledging the words' meaning......Has it been "cancelled?"

"ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS, MARCHING AS TO WAR

WITH THE CROSS OF JESUS, HOLDING OUT BEFORE

AT THE SIGN OF TRIUMPH, SATAN'S HOST DOTH FLEE

ON, THEN, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS, ON TO VICTORY!

et al......

I now understand. This is as basic, elemental, and crucial as it can get.

This is the true test.
