Dropping In for a Respite from the road.....
FOR ALL THE NEW SUBSCRIBERS...... JUST AS I LEFT TOWN, THERE ARE PAST POSTINGS THAT HAVE MANY GOOD TIMELESS IDEAS FROM OTHERS THAT I SPREAD AROUND
AZ is a ways from the “Hills of JawGA”, but I still love the Hills and of course the Western “Hills” are quite Higher.
I’m Briefly in Prescott, AZ , a beautiful drive up from Phoenix. The Land Abides but the People not so much, Individually and Culturally and Societally. We all need those “Ally’s” if you get my drift.
The pages of the book are always turning, be sure to write your story, a story worth reading. This Life is actually fairly short in hindsight, I’m still figuring out the foresight thing.
I was touched toaday by a 32 yr old man telling a 90 yr old man how much spending 2 weeks with him back some 20yrs earlier had changed his life for the better. It’s really those small brief moments of real communication that matters.
Anyhow, I’ve been Out of any news loops since Wed, it seems like a lot longer, but I haven’t missed it too much. Once you Know the Bacics of Team Tyranny and Team Liberty, getting the play by play action may not be so vital, though it has been certainly addictive in my own case.
Local reports from people on the ground telling local stories from Phoenix are of typical large city devolution and visable declining that doesn’t make news back across the country. Hearing it personally is different than online or broadcast. Experiencing it would be a whole different world.
Don’t be caught unaware of your surroundings, it’s easily done. And Keep up in your pre-paring, so many good people are just unaware, knowingly and unknowingly because much is unpleasant to hear about.
At least the landscapes are pretty.
The landscape is gorgeous in AZ and I’ve enjoyed it on several trips; however, I would NEVER want to live there. And the reason probably isn’t what you’d think. It’s because I despise the heat!
Hey Neighbor, My Wife and I live in Verde Valley, Cottonwood to be exact. Just over the mountain from you. Seems I recall a trip you might have mentioned to California. So you might be heading up through Chino, and on to Ashfork to catch I-40, trying to avoid the People's Republic of Flagstaff, and the snow. Safe Journey Sir!
