“The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord?” -Psalm 14:2-4
I bought a little house abroad in 2016. Heading out there soon. Too old to fight, surrounded hy dumbasses who would vote BiteMe again because "orange man bad". No amount of proof or persuasion will interest them.
Will have a big garden and chickens. I have invited a few awake friends to stay if they need to get out.
Never Too old to Fight, Mr Colt made the "Equalizer" though I will admit the Confeserate "Home Guard" of old men & boys was not much opposition to Sherman's March in 1864-65
History does not repeat, but it does rhyme if people can read the poetry.
If you don't mind, What country have you selected? Asking for a friend :-)
Mexico... I know it well, many years of traveling there. The climate is lovely in places, good food, nice people, excellent health care (in some areas), and the gov't has no interest in surveilling everyone. Yes, it's a corrupt country, but so is the US. Legendary investor Jim Rogers, who now lives in Singapore, said, "You have to pick your poison".
I speak passable Spanish, lots of Americans there, close to an int'l airport, as good as it gets.
My son travels to Mexico on Reward trips from the company he is associated with and I would be interested for him to just have a location name. Thanks.
Any people only think of beach towns, I'm on a large lake, called Chapala. Safe, lots of retirees, 45 mins from Guadalajra. Also, San Miguel de Allende is awesome. But more costly.

I'm willing to have my brain picked, if you want.
